Featured is paid placement for standard members: when someone searches your area, your profile shows above other matching listings, with a Featured label. Founding members have it included. It isn't a higher level of checking or an endorsement.
Founding members pay nothing extra. For standard members the total after the free period is £20 a month.

Founding members have Featured included for as long as they stay a member, and it takes none of the paid positions. Standard members can buy one of only three paid Featured positions in each area when they apply, and both charges begin together after the free months. If we host your website, Featured is included free for as long as we do.

How payment works
No card is needed to join. Your first-payment date is confirmed when your approved profile goes live. We remind you 14 and 3 days before it, and you can cancel online before that date without paying.
When do my free months start?
The day your approved profile, confirmed by you, goes live. Preparing a draft doesn't start them. Your account shows the exact first-payment date in UK time.
How do founding places work?
Each area has three founding places. Your area is the nearest town to your practice, and the biggest cities are split by parliamentary constituency. If you work online only, it's the area where you live. When you apply, you'll see how many places are left in your area.
Do I need a card to apply?
No. Add one from your dashboard any time before your free months end, and that's when you authorise the monthly payments. Nothing is taken before your first-payment date. If no card has been added when your free months end, we keep your profile for 30 days, and adding a card in that time brings it straight back. It's hidden from the directory until you do.
Will I be reminded before the first payment?
Yes. We confirm the first-payment date and send reminders 14 and 3 days before it. If a reminder fails or we can't confirm it was sent, we hold your first payment until that's put right and give you a fresh 14 days' notice, with no extra charge for the delay.
How do I cancel?
Online, from your dashboard. Cancel before a charge and it isn't taken.
Is my price protected?
Yes. Your monthly price, £10, stays the same for as long as you stay a member, and it includes the normal improvements we make to the service. You keep it through the seven days you have to put a failed payment right and through any pause. It ends if you cancel.
What if my profile is paused or a payment fails?
A pause saves your unused free time and keeps your price. If your profile is hidden during time you've already paid for, we review that time for a credit. To come back, you'll need current evidence and to confirm your new payment date. A failed payment has seven days to be put right, with your price kept. If it's still unpaid after that, your profile is hidden and future payments stop.
